The Poet's Place

The poet comes here  To write about  The sea, seasons, And at night the stars Between the rock  The essence of flavor Sea soaked grasses Pebbles  Dirt  Seaweed  Sea urchins Fresh, old Pungent and rich For the poet this place    Provides a way to   Get seated in the soul  To find that fresh new Breeze to blow his way To breathe and let go   To walk in places that  Were walked in before To sit and wait for the wind To carry him to a state where Time doesn't tick and is perfect To surrender sweetly and sublimely This place is where the poet is Look and you will find  Him there writing.
