Angels are all around us

Angels are all around us Some with unassuming natural grace Others as blatant as can be Invading our very space Often they are in disguise Between sorrow and lies For every wish our heart makes For however long our dreams take After each and every heartbreak During ice cream, birthdays and cake During cold and sorrowful times After drinking red crimson sweet wine In the simple hello and thank you Or within the smile of a friend You will always see a halo No matter how much you have to mend In the magic of a newborn  When a loved ones lost And its time to mourn In the stillness of the trees When you walk amongst the leaves They hover within our minds Pushing us to be one of a kind In the whisper of I love you In the wonder of I do In the hope of a better tomorrow In I'm so happy I finally found you In the beauty of a sunset  In the warmth of someone’s eyes Looking down from up above From blue incandescent skies With their unassuming nature You may never know they have arrived Rescuing you from your sorrow Making you reach for a brighter tomorrow But when you look into their eyes And you see the difference they’ve made You realize they must have been an angel Sent to guide you through your pain And when you touch their body They transfer heir strength You then will be able to go on
