IF TIME HOLDS A MIRACLE

We walk together this evening         In Silence along the beach Weighing the damage done to a love so rare So many things have crumbled our world of rapture Temptation has destroyed what was once pure love       Commited for life.  Realizing now that,           Only if time holds a miracle,        Can this Phoenix rise from the ashes. You murmer softly about starting over, speak of    How you yearn to enter my life once again Peomising to scatter moon beams along God's galaxy To ornament my soul and rekindle a star lit path for us     I turn and look into your eyes and softly say,            "Only if time holds a miracle!"           We weep and go our separate ways       With fond memories and regret of what was.
