Line Dot Fugue

If you are line in this, our two-dimensional world, and you should move around completely, I would be heart, which lay unbeating out beyond the widest sea, and all your fields and hedges would be mine, to water and make dance  in silent streams. If I were dot and yet, the only heart, in this, our two-dimensional world, and you were line completely all around your fields and hedges, they would be you,  your silent streams, and I in you a heart unbeating, spinning like the earth. In this, our two-dimensional world, you are the line, I am the dot. If you should curve around and circle me completely, then all my fields and hedges would be you, and I would be the only heart that lay unbeating in your silent streams. How we would dance the way the world is dancing! Spin like the earth, and out beyond the widest sea, dress empty space completely.
