TWO FRIENDS Two friends they are, Holding one another dear, They lend in turn Kind and gentle ears. To ease each other Through the day, They laugh, they tease, Sometimes horseplay. With good thoughts And wishes kind, They ease each other's Troubled minds. Whether days are good Or things much amiss, They part with a smile, A hug, and gentle kiss. So thankful am I, For this friend of mine, Whose soul is thoughful, Gentle, and so very kind. |
