xxx *As You Dream* xxx

A whisper brushes my neck                  as you dream of loving me.                  My heart and body respond                  to your murmured message.             Eyes closed, lips part, love pours                         from your heart                         as you dream.                         I answer you                 with silent, searching lips                with a message of their own.                  Your slow steady breath                  is as deep as your sleep                   and warm with want.            I feel my own quicken with need        and as shallow as my own greedy desire.                You inspire love beyond lust,                and passion beyond pleasure.                Without a conscious thought,                        like breathing,                          I need you.                     Should I wake you?                   . . . or take you?
