Mirror Image

I had been awash in the seconds, the days, the years, of mutual union. I was merged, morphed, muddied, and on some days misplaced entirely in the detrition of mutuality. I had become the hands, the eyes, the ears, the mouth, even the half-finished sentences of a second self. Now, mining my mirror image I behold the person that I was, and as swirling, starry cosmos, the one I might still become.
