All Alone

Traipsing through the sands of time... Finding no purpose, no reason, no rhyme. Aimlessly searching for what I can't say, lost in a day dream of come what may. Will I ever stop meandering through a life forsaken, will a miracle arise to help me awaken? Drifting through existence in a realm of my own dreadfully misguided I search all alone. Floundering through life's tribulations; constantly uncertain never really knowing what's behind the next curtain. Sometimes I wish I could vanish into thin air! It wouldn't matter... there's no one to care. Where will I go?  What will I become? I wonder if I'm the only one. How can I stop this uncertainty, what is it that's wrong with me? Could it be that buried way deep inside it's really me who chooses to constantly hide? If I could just face life; like a soldier of glory but this all consuming fear is another story. My deepest regret is in the truth itself. I consigned myself to this lonely shelf. It's much easier to remain here and hide in my den of lonliness I keep hidden inside. Fear and rejection are formidable foes. No one has time for my insecure woes. I know I need to change, this I owe to myself. No more will I fear for my own mental health. All alone is where it began; all alone is where I'll start. How can I change things, will others do their part? Opening up to strangers has never been my game. It's been how many years since I heard my own name? I know for certain my life is going to change. No longer will I feel unwanted, desperate and estranged. There must be others out there, as lonely and like me. I've got to try and find them so together we'll be free.
