Reflections after success at urination

true title:  Reflections after success at urination (and other things) post hernia-surgery there were no hymns in heaven sung when crippled bent and whimpering rung the tilting bowl i did i done wet yellow like a humid sun my belly bore the fresh-laid track in purple tinged with spoilt black of blood that melted then forgot the blade the knife too close too hot         i do i hear         the bugles dear         excessive strings         (for swelling things)         they trumpet in exuberance         return of this protuberance you cut me doc you did your best you pared my skin you sewed a mesh which painful now might soon provide  that what's inside will stay inside (besides the healing other perks i kiss the sky  my penis works)

Additional Notes:
just so you know: hernia surgery always carries this small disclaimer: "may cause loss of erectile functioning." Had to sign a release form to that effect. Yikes!
