No Longer Lost

Six months ago, from the U.S.A. skies God called ten thousand brave souls to come Home Those left behind, dust and tears in their eyes Wandered the streets, so helplessly alone Watching and praying for movement or sound Chaos, confusion...days of searing pain As day after day, dead bodies were found Gripping terror was all that would reign Slowly, as one, we stood proud, free, and brave Battle cry was sent, Ben Laden won’t win Even though dailey, we’d dig a new grave We sent soldiers forth, our women and men             Know without doubt, by the ultimate cost    They are angels, too...and no longer lost.
