Moody Man

Without warning the flirtation in your voice    becomes a languid wandering     the exuberant exchange of sensibilities,       indifferent, vague.   Your inner turmoil is a commotion    that flusters abandon passions, and      denies your spirit the ecstasy       of temptuous trembling.  What dark effigy lured itself into your heart    while joy was your companion?      How did murky numbness drown         the intoxicating gale? Your presence so oft assured,     is weary from sleeps delirium      nonsensical illusions that chill        an effervescent day. Moody man, let my heart stir your soul    from its pensive composure and      erase the solemn stirrings       of foreboding.  Times steely gaze watches the endeavors        of two who journey. You no longer have to doubt the vision       pictured in a June nights dream.
