Mr. Quilling

Mr. Quilling     was quite unwilling    to hide his feelings for the maid made his quill     much too willing     to write this story tell his tale Tail he did that maid not chaste Chased her through the mid-day mist Missed not his chance on her to prey  Pray for lust did Mr. Quilling    his heart set upon their pact Packed and ready, more than willing    to please her with his quill and two Too much for him and his guest Guessed that she could get him off    then his pen is     frantic    frenetic     for part of an hour Our Mr. Quilling quite relaxing    settling into reading chair    nestling nasally pince nez there Their afternooner but     an afterthought Now that he was here Hear what, lovely wife, my dear?     Deer in park you say, a doe?     Dough she so patiently kneaded    Needed tender loving trust     Trussed within some other time    Thyme she added to the bread    Bred he’ll be no more our knight    Night now dank with rain so wet    Whet stone ground a cleaver raised    Razed him with that Danish steel    Steal no more shall Mr Quilling Mrs. Quilling     calmly killing    him so very very dead Mr. Quilling    so very chilling    now unwilling     evermore
