Phoenix the stone has been rolled away unearthing this trembling creature so close to death, that death seemed to occur arise from thine own ashes emerge into the light glowing, translucent, shall even one recognize thee? hast thine wings been clipped or shalt thou burn once more, pleasure through pain, birth through death, or rise, shining, into the sky wings spread, never to be seen again or dive into the sea the bright fire extinguished thy fine feathers plucked by those thou once plucked from their complacency wriggling pathetic creatures consume thee as thee has consumed hast thou escaped the monotony of endless admiration the agony of immortality each moment different yet essentially the same didst thou cry out as the darkness crept in or utter a relieved sigh? |
