Close Your Eyes and Dream

Down in the valley, where the green grass grows Lives a little pixie, with a wiggly nose. It wiggles and twitches from sunup ‘til sundown, So much so that people say she looks like a clown. She flutters by like a butterfly, on silvery wings. Stop! Listen close...Hear her as she sings? Her voice, not much louder than a breath of fresh air... LOOK—there she goes, so very bright and fair! You didn’t see her this time? She’s really, really quick, Dancing through the pine trees, so dense and so thick. Hurry, you can catch her, if you have the faith to try, But she can hide successfully, in the blink of an eye. Look, there she is...sitting in the tall green grass. Enjoy her now, for soon, like your childhood, she will pass. Gaze upon her beauty...see all her warmth and charm... Remember, believe in miracles, and do not be alarmed. Stay young at heart, pure of mind, every single day... Miss Pixie with the wiggly nose will never go away. She’ll be there when you need her...Out of reach, it may seem... Try to remember, all you have to do...      Is           close                 your                      eyes                           and                                dream.
