His Answer

Moses prayed. The breath of God parted a perfect path through the midst of a perilous sea. He prayed again. God's nostrils sent angry waves crashing over every enemy chariot. Joshua prayed. Iron-feet of Justice crushed invincible fortress to trumpets of triumphant obedience.                  He prayed again. God's fingers caught the sun and moon, holding time captive for a day. Daniel prayed. Defiant guards threw him  into a lair of hungry lions. He prayed again. Jaws of death held harmless by cords of God's strong love.  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego prayed. A king's decree prepared a furnace stoked from the flames of hell. They prayed again. God walked ahead, into the inferno, to surround them with His Fire. Elijah prayed. God's Hand shut off the flow of all heavenly fountains. He prayed again. Sweet showers dropped their life upon the parched ground below.  He prayed once again. Fire of God's judgment fell, comsuming even the stones. Jesus prayed. His Father delivered the kingdom into His Righteous Hands. He prayed again. Principalities shook at His Word. The winds and waves obeyed. He prayed once again. As He died, the Father heard only the words, "I forgive."
