‘Would my Heart you Steal …’

I know not what to think, nor even what to feel Given that I should blink and find this all unreal Stars and moon might fall From the heavens in the sky No longer night would call and birds would cease to fly If there’s confusion in my soul And I know not what to do If I’ve lost all control, would you tell me it’s not true … On silent wings of a dove  Would you send me a kiss, wrapped in the beauty of love Simply to say that you miss … the sweetness of my smile Could you promise me forever and walk with me down the aisle Would you vow to leave me never And stay with me all the while … Could you bring to me the sun With all the splendor of the day Assure me you’re the one and chase my fears away Tell me what to think I know not if this is real Given that I should blink … Would then my heart you steal …
