From a Granddaughter With Love

Grandma’s pajamas Grandma’s hair Sitting with Grandma in her favorite chair Grandma’s smile Grandma’s style Going with Grandma everywhere Grandma’s hug Made me feel so snug & Grandma’s kiss is something I’ll forever miss Grandma’s face No one can ever take her place Grandma’s silly ways & those fun filled days Spent dreaming & shopping & Talking without stopping Holding Grandma’s hands & Listening to Grandma’s plans Grandma’s favorite shows & secret’s nobody else knows I remember Grandma’s tears & with her I still share All my hopes & fears I remember how she brushed my  hair & pushing her in her wheelchair I remember Grandma’s pain Though she never did complain Not much anyway & She wasn’t very old When God took her away Setting free her heart of gold Grandma I remember you I remember your love You may be gone But your spirit with me  Forever will stay & to your memory I’ll always be true Someday we’ll hug again tho' I don’t know when But until then I know you’ll watch over me  From the heavens above
