Anguish

Desolation & frustration no reasons to be sad feel angry or even bad but my sh** eating grin belies the suffering within always forgiving surviving not living screaming out loud rage thunderous as a tempest cloud love never wonderous as some proclaim withered dreams only I’m to blame heart rendering screams fall on deaf ears why should you care about my hopes & fears with storms of your own to fare chaos abounds reality reigns king aspiration drowns while gleeful demons sing not alone, yet so alone unwhole & incomplete by the wind my hopes are blown then crushed like autumn leaves beneath indifferent feet
