Additional Notes:
During the strong years of the Italian and Irish mobs, loansharking and debt--cause and collection-- proved to be a mobsters way of doubling their money, simple and easy with high interest rates and constant reminders of what was owed via telephone, and in person. Well, the government shut them down and adopted the idea of loansharking, allowed it to become a corporate practice, much of the election campaign contributions come from these corporations, only now its legal---go figure
