Special Delivery

I was all for pushing the envelope and having you, fresh from warm  amniotic fluid, squealing, blessed by blood, and remnants of black,  tar-like stuff, and with a belly button chord still attached. You required  48 hours of painful labor, and immense love from everybody (but especially, me). So, you wanted  a coming out party? Well, this was it. Now, let me hold you in my arms and celebrate!
