INSPIRATION

The sun comes up and smiles at me She teases for a while Waltzes with the silken clouds Then burns in glorious style She radiates such ponderous might It draws me through the door Put down your pen, come play with me We'll feed your muse some more With images of turqouise skies And mountains lean and strong Lets walk the craggy worn out roads Search birds in full-blown song Flowers glowing vibrantly, streams that race and giggle Children gathered with their poles, hooked fish that dance and wiggle I feel her eyes upon my soul the window opens wide We look to things outside my mind to birth the thoughts inside 'Thank you' I wink my feet afire to flee back to my den Renewed of spirit in touch with time I start my ride again
