Addict

That familiar itch with its discomfiting twitch returns night after night; I need a fix. My body screams for relief, for release from gravity; I seek the peaks only ecstatic eagles entwined in their sky tearing, mating flight can boast. You approach me from shadowy depths with all I  need to reach blazing heights. I pant and ache with hunger and greed. My mind is dull, my senses sharp. Opium lips fog my thoughts as you pierce me with the needle of your tongue. The world recedes as I rise in a mist of masculine morphine. Within the haze I see a mountain before me, its peak within reach. I climb to intoxicating heights to ride the thermal tides and tumultuous winds. The sweet ecstasy you bring rushes my being with searing waves gushing within to overload the pounding in my veins. Shrieking like a falling eagle, I abandon grace for satisfaction. Writhing and contorting I spiral through my drunken daze blissfully content to lie in my own sweat. My addiction sated temporarily.
