Conversation over Morning Coffee

Lashes lift and eyes adjust to light, another day of nothing, and everything discovering a voice. Flannel prints are soft, wrinkled, minds initiate questions and we  join, answers fall from our mouths as we speak our stories together, raising stones of friendship in a circle of quiet bonds, distinctive parts synchronized, harmony in our rooms, shadows brush faces with life, breath.

Additional Notes:
The structure of this is very free form, I wrote it on the fly one morning after a very enjoyable conversation with my husband and his sister. We spent hours doing absolutely nothing, in our pajamas and just enjoying each others' company.
