my last resolution

the day of my last resolution arrived as i slowly circled in the vortex of my mind collapsing my thoughts no longer penetrated time the hour of my last resolution came as i accelerated within to a dark and solitary realm my blood clotted in fatal ischemia the minute of my last resolution summoned my last prayer to God for salvation instead of damnation my soul in desperation screamed out the second of my last resolution presented a glimpse of eternal query would my light be forever extinguished or implode into a quasar hereafter the last moment of my resolution brought to me answers i could not afford i already knew where i was going i could no longer turn away
