Eagle Falls

Twilight came to Eagle falls The moon glistened with dancing beams The old sceech owl make his distant call As back to my youth I dreamed The midnight swims, clothes hanging in a tree flesh fish over open flames life then seemed so care free today it just does not seem the same The sun now up just over the hill time to make my way back to town again in thoughts I will relive the thrill as the water comes rushing down Where the sounds of nature sing their tune as I peer from ancient caves I will share again that glowing moon And remember the days of the young and the brave.
