Seasonal Love And Joy

Fall season's in the heart so dear As daylight is cut short by night, Three months are left of this year And the weather seems just right.  We have cool nights and warm days When fall brings out its new colors. Lessons first, then my little girl plays Outside while accompanied by others. Soon after studying she's on her way To find friends, that are a pleasure. It is time for a bath, to end the day Having left only memories to treasure. It's nearly bedtime she's ready for a hug From mother and father, good night! Pull up the blanket with one big tug With love tucked into bed, just right. Let's go to sleep the day has passed With many thanks to Lord Jesus we give. Time for hugs and kisses are here at last Our praise to God for the life we live.
