Wandering Mind

Don't you just hate it when someone explains,  "It fell through the crack."   My mind conjures up all sorts of colorful Images when I hear that said. I picture a man running down the sidewalk, Winning lottery ticket in hand, on his way To get his cash, when lo and behold,  He trips on the sidewalk, his winning ticket Flies out of his hand, and guess what--yup, It falls through the crack! I picture a couple, walking hand in hand, Down a pier on a moon-lit night.  The man Digs in his pocket, pulls out a 2-carat diamond Ring so he can "pop the question". But, in the emotional turmoil the ring Slips out of his hand, hits the pier, and Guess what?  Yup, it falls through the crack! Or how about the new mother with Hemorrhoids?  Oh, forget it.
