DADDY'S HERE

Feathered lashes Rest on ivory cheeks. Restless limbs Have scattered sheets. Sleepy eyes  Look up to meet, Loving ones Bent down to greet. Daddy's here. Scraped knees, Childhood fears, Soulfull eyes, Unhappy tears. Pouty frown Looks up to meet, Loving smile Bent down to greet. Daddy's here. Impish grin From ear to ear. Turned up nose And sunwashed hair. Small arms Held high to meet, Gentle ones Held down to greet. Daddy's here.
