A Widow's Purpose

Solitary widow waits patiently. Glass of the red hour adorns her abdomen, A warning unheeded by past lovers drawn to her dark seduction. Defiant widow waits boldly. Sleek curves of black beauty glisten, Attracting those who dare to prove themselves worthy. Ambitious widow waits eagerly. Nature's purpose fuels her desire and lends Death a lifelong lover and propagator. Engorged widow waits gravid. Life burdens her to pay her due As she returns what she has taken.
