Where Rapture Lies (Revised)

Lead me  O Great Spirit  to vistas yet unseen, those close at hand  and found by sailing  wondrous far. Release my soul over  waters of your seas then out to ceaseless  burning fires of stars and down to ocean’s depths,  and deeper still to find again completeness  and relief. Then, flung beyond  the galaxies and time, bring me back again to earth to watch a leaf unfold  from fractal patterns   as innate in worlds we know as those we cannot see.  You give   a luminary crèche  to contemplate in Your temple of the sky and cries of birds who know  where rapture lies.
