Just One Question

keeping rhyme with a Metrodome fishes swimming in a fish bowl wishes dive over the fool's brim he rocks on his porch and hopes not to get old she held the torch and gropes in the dark to touch him how did it come this far, and where went the goals? another haircut, another facelift, keep the waistline trim somebody has been playing Boggle with my roles and where the heck is the phone? the hair grows back again and again my belly is full, just write a check shoulders and head move slowly forward fun and freedom hide behind rocks and up on poles I reach for them, but have no range of motion I cannot touch my lover or my toes outside of the box everything's easier, smaller and faster not free of suggestion "slowly I turn" into a pugnacious gnome just fine sitting here in this Eden #3, alone with just one question
