FROOT LOOPS

Tiny rings of color Float in their bath of white, Silver spoon comes splashing Causing quite a fright. Mini life preservers Backstroke to and fro, Within the plastic pond There is nowhere to go. A chubby hand invades Fingers making ripples, Blue eyes gazing down Smile bursting into giggles. Sweetened yellow circle Caught by one small fist, For mom a soggy gift Exchanged for one wet kiss.
