I Keep Dreaming

Whimsical musings affect paths I follow every now and again. Lost in a vision of undisturbed silence, only sounds of seagulls gliding above me, whispers of water washing my toes, settling on ocean shore, scribbling random thoughts on paper. Living in tranquil surroundings, unrushed, unhurried pace, words flow as freely as the ebb and tide of the ocean. Free to be, I am completed. Mind, spirit, body - one. Slowly and reluctantly, I move. Back to reality; job, bills, responsibilities. Setting my pen aside, adding paper to the ever growing stack  of  "still to be completed", To be worked on another time, another day, when I can dream again.
