HEALING HANDS

H ow often I do think of those who gave me back my life; E very time I do those things I could not do before. A bler now to walk and speak, and even be a wife; L ooking toward tomorrow, I can see an open door. I nstead of facing years of sad, progressive, failing health; N ow I greet the freshened day with hope and goals and smiles. G reater was the gift they gave than all the whole world's wealth. H ow do I thank them from my heart for all those extra miles; A nd praise them for the pleasant hours, whole days of happiness. N o words that I would write could ever thank them properly.  D oes a prayer, a song, a poem, any written word possess S ufficient thanks for all that " healing hands" have done for me?

Additional Notes:
I just had to do one last acrostic as a thank-you to my doctors. I am now ready to try something new and different...And to Matthew R. -I tried with the rhyming part just for you--so let me know what you think!
