The Perpetual Pendulum

Frantic scratching at immortality Elusive as air to Hot rhythmical time Bleeding beats,  Thumping undulations,   Leaching through needle pierced  Bone, transient flesh, Pooling, stiffened to frost With effacement of memory. Captivated nerve ends tingle Their ills, jangle their junctures.  Sinuous cells snowed to Sterility, tissue fissures And folds. Neurons pulsate erratically  Articulate, ambiguous, Veiled eyes denied Crystal visuals. Ephemerally iridescent Aura crackles to black As my broken breath clouds The window of eternity.
