ONCE UPON A MIRROR Once upon a mirror Reflection looking back, Sleepy eyes now staring Lashes smudged with black. Beneath the lazy lids Memories cascade, Despite the pass of time Are likely not to fade. Pupils begin to focus And now, what do I see? The memory in the mirror Is looking back at me. |
