FRIENDS FORGIVE

toward the West this day I ride to leave familiar far behind no ire nor resentment I carry within just a hint of a smile at what might have been paths did cross no regrets tis true friends forgive as I do you

Additional Notes:
Life is a fleeting experience, sometimes over in the blink of an eye. Having experienced sudden loss, I have always tried to make it a practice to let the important people in my life know my thoughts, my feelings. Friendships are precious, and to forgive a friend, and to leave their mind at ease, is perhaps one of the greatest gifts the human species is capable of. As I journey toward my new life, it is this gift I leave behind, with the best of warm wishes.
