The four lasting friends

How long would you guess that we've been friends? Close to forty years ,boy do we blend Dorothy,Chipper,Lois, and Jack Friends till the end and thats a fact We've grown up together we four friends We won't tell our kids all the things we did Been thru some adventures, and some rules we bent But the fun is remembered in our times well spent The years go by so fast it seems But it down on record we are a team Remember that time,"Oh lets not do that" Next we'll be wishing we had them back Our friendship has lasted all these years The memories we share are what we hold near Our love for each other, and i say this thru tears Is a friendship that others may never endear I think when we die we should tell our kids Save some of our ashes in a can with a lid When the last of us four has left this world Say their final goodbyes, and take us down to the shore Shake our ashes together, and release to the breeze Together again we'll come with ease This time without a boat over the waters we'll fly The four lasting friends, in the sweet bye and bye.
