Vulnerable

crushing heaviness   pressures weigh upon my mind   stifling weariness   relief I can’t seem to find   where did the light flee   as the winds thundered into the peaceful night   why did they blow away my security   and pulverize the reprieve from burdens in my life   feeling so disjointed   thoughts in my mind won’t interlock   vulnerable--hurled about   flung into the darkness of a box   inner chaos recking havoc   taunting from the boundaries of my reserves   searching for lucidity within the mayhem   calm bestowed from lessons learned
