Rhythm What is it for The reins I walk by The shadows that follow The rhythm in my heart When is it just A moment alone A lifetime set in motion By the rhythm of God Is it something To be held tightly in hand Or to fly with the seasons In the rhythm of the land Is it in me A glimpse at eternity Pounding my head To the rhythm of my clock Or is it an end To the gazing in hunger If the circle cannot turn The rhythm can only die |
