LUCKY?

I was lucky today I give thanks for skills learned in a past profession that allowed me  to react without thought letting adrenalin take over curbing emotions until I could be alone  and let them out I saved a life today a ten year old will see eleven but I could not save his mother I was lucky today why wasn't she?

Additional Notes:
First of all....to all those that read this...I AM OK...car is intact and so am I. I thank Ford for the nimble creature that little car is. What some of you may not know about me, is that I spent almost five years in the towing industry...running police and CHP calls. Today, for the first time since the 1989 quake I was faced with an accident that involved a death. Not in any way involved in the collision, but just behind the incident. I can't explain it, but I almost went on auto-pilot...only one other person stopped, and we got the little boy out...His mom was already gone...after all was taken care of, I found someplace to be, and had to write this...and decided to share it with those who might understand. Take care all, Moni
