Ode to the Vintner

Your seeds shall live in my body. Your tomorrows shall blossom in my heart. Your fragrance shall be my breath. Together we shall rejoice through all the seasons. In the Autumn, when the harvest is brought to the winepress, say in your heart, "I, too, am a vinyard and my fruit shall be gathered for the press. Like new wine, I shall be kept in eternal vessels. In the winter, when you draw the wine, sing a song for each cup and, in the song, let there be a reverence for the Autumn days, for the vinyard, for the winepress.
