Heroes

Your life is like a rose, That someone always passes by, Some are created prettier,  And those are the ones who feel high. When really the looks on the inside, Count a lot more, For those are the ones in life, Who really score. They become a hero,  And are recognized most, While the ones that are prettier, Are treated like a ghost.  The people in life who become heroes, Are remembered even when they die, Although when that person passes away,  It seems everyone in the world turns and sighs. For it is so sad to not talk, With that hero again in life, Now you won't be filled with his knowledge,  And it cuts through you like a knife. Your heart sinks,  Down, Down, Down, And it doesn't just effect you, It effects the whole town. You know he is happier, Where he is today, He is in the hands of God, And you can only pray; That God will take care of him,  And surely he will, He's probably watching you right now,  As you sit on the window sill. He will always be remembered, For all the things he's done, He loved us all a lot,  And the game of life he won.  And the game of life he won The game of life he won.
