For Doug

You spoke   the innards of things, accepting hazard, taught that view (only yours) which informed your life. None can replace your voice. You wrote yourself  into your pieces, brought us into surreal settings of your inner sight to feel things you felt, inhale the taste of night. May you always drink the turquoise sky brush hands across wheat fields, breathe peace on those you love. Shalom, dear friend.
