EntiretyJames C. HorakHi poet, interesting presentation of the sun and the stars.....your words certainly do bring forth images of the night sky, the beauty in the heavens on a star filled night and yet as they fade into morning light and the sun brightens the horizon the sun certainly takes over in its entirety. Thanks again for taking the time to share with us here on the link, God Bless, Claire 2008-09-10 00:47:23

The nervous questionJames Edward SchanneNot being certain of the nervous question I am just assuming from what I am reading that we have a very nervous groom to be perhaps......like the presentation, the rhymme, the flow of words that do created images which allows one's imagination to go with it......actually it brings a smile to my face as it tugs at my heart. Should do well in the month's contest. God Bless, Claire2008-08-29 21:35:39
A Spider's Webmarilyn terwillegerThen you would not enjoy my barn spides which cling to the bottom of the deck or edge of the porch......some as big as fifty cent pieces, YUK........and they hardly look or act as neat as yours seems to. Enjoyed the beauty of the web as your words brought it to life, A spider spins her wedding dress on eaves.....creeps on silky threads in summer’s breeze.....honestly this one should be made into a little reader boy with images and perhaps add the prince in the next one.......bet you could just make that work as your pen has already created the beginning web......thanks for posting, enjoy the change in the season as it will be quickly upon us. God Bless, Claire2008-08-29 21:19:50
Performing ArtDellena RovitoPerforming Art, a perfect title for this one my friend, your words flow as life often does.....are we not all performers at some time or other? Actually you have allowed the stage to be set for so many different scene's in life ......hope and pray you are well and that the fall season will not arrive too soon as mornings here in New England have already dipped close to freezing. God Bless, Claire2008-08-29 21:12:49
The Beaded CurtainJames C. HorakInteresting read poet and your pen has created quite the images as your pen continued to flow.....We are born for one purpose and that is to die......the experinces we have in between at times we have no control over but for most of it we certaily have free reigns.......it is hard to let go and if this is indeed on dying it is not easy to watch someone we love earn their angel wings........this poem indeed reminded me of the last week spent with a mother and watching her spirit fly broke my heart even knowing she was just opening a new door for her ventures to begin. Okay, I'm so far off track but that is where you brought me. God Bless, Claire2008-08-23 21:51:41

ConquistadorJames C. HorakSuch a powerful write my friend, so full of images that shake up my thoughts and brings a touch of fear within my soul. I am hoping to be able to find the movie you mentioned earlier and see it for myself....once again you have allowed your pen to script and bring to life a touch of the past that I believe may still be with us today in so many ways. God Bless, Claire 2008-08-23 21:21:09
TobermoryJames C. HorakWell done poet....your presentation of Tobermory is splendidly penned, love the idea of the talking cat as indeed they do get around and quietly too. You brought this 'ca' to life, gave the old gal a laugh or two for sure.......full of great images as well.......words just flowed so well........okay, I liked it alot.......going on my list for the month....God Bless, Claire Alfred would have loved it too..........2008-08-19 07:51:55
Wanderingmarilyn terwillegeryou have captured the sounds, smells and deep feelings of being out in the early morning light , standing at the edge of this vast body of water , perhaps allowing the ripples of water to tickle your toes as you stand in awe of the beauty before you........ocean's silhouette.....phantom waves wash my soul....drug by salty air and sea smells......so very well penned my friend, so full of images and emotions. Thank you for postig and sharing with us. God Bless, Claire2008-08-15 18:33:27
SurgesDellena RovitoLove the full power of emotions I feel as I read this one......the ocean and all its fury has always captured my hearts desires ......love the word flow, the images, the soaring through the sky the high and lows of it all......you can stand there, imagine it all and still feel the wind as it is manipulating the ride.......could not ask for more my friend, other then that you are well .......thank you once more for posting and sharing your God given talent with us......God Bless, Claire2008-08-04 16:44:02
DistanceRegis L ChapmanThank you poet for posting this one thus submitting the first part in the apparent trilogy as you have shown us.....well done.....God Bless, Claire2008-08-02 22:03:40
SpacesRegis L Chapmanfrom beginning to end you have held my attention and allowed my emotions to surface along with the images you created with the flow of your words......I envy your ability to pen it all so well. the beauty is only in between us I see across the jagged sky in this place in this space and spaces a bird flies on trust Indeed a long distance relationship may be hard on all concerned yet you have showed so many ways to keep the love alive.......God Bless, Claire2008-08-02 22:01:13
The WombRegis L Chapmanyou do have a way with words poet.....and this one reads just fine.....the words penned bring forth images created along with hopes, desires felt.......imagine how dull life would be without words to fill in the spaces of time.....thanks for posting, God Bless, Claire2008-08-02 21:54:54
Traveling BookRegis L ChapmanInteresting title poet, I am always amazed at the amount of words you put into one poem..........seems like you and the pen breath together , the ink flows, your feelings and emotions are released and the end product is always wonderful. Good for you, good for those who have a chance to stop by and read it too. God Bless, claire2008-07-29 07:19:35
LostRegis L ChapmanIndeed poet quite sad yet there seems to be some good coming from it.........it is not only hard to dig out the inner self and hope to come out changed in some ways, it is good to see that you are able to provide the words you need to help you release yourself from The Control Disease....your words bring forth images, emotions, feelings of sadness yet feelings of hope as well. Thank you for posting and sharing this most difficult piece with us. God Bless, Claire2008-07-29 07:13:52
The Beauty Of ExistenceDellena RovitoHi Del.....you are a beacon in the night..shinning bright for all the world to see......loved the read, enjoyed your would I be or could I be.....yesterday Jerry took me with him to deliver tires on Cape Cod.....loved the day, sun bright, feet felt the warmth of the inland water, salty to the taste.....and as I just gazed in awe at the beauty of God's creation I wondered what it would be like to be able to just fly above it all and see it from another's point of view. The Beauty of Existence is a lovely title and I hope all that read share it with someone else......certainly brought y own imagination to life. Thanks for posting and for being such a grand part of this link....take good care, God Bless, Claire 2008-07-27 17:32:58
Days of grey...Lynda G SmithYour words certainly bring forth emotions, feelings perhaps of deep sadness, though it is so well written ...a cashmere day....the warmth to keep, To foggy rituals spun in gauze’ure clouds To tree limbs wrapped around the flocculent shroud Ancient voice, a toddy on the wind’.....it is all beautifully expressed and I thank you for posting. Certainly going on my list for this month's contest....God Bless, Claire 2008-07-27 17:23:40
SculpturedThomas H. SmihulaHello Tom, hope you are well......this read is so beautiful it comes straight from your heart and I am certain it will touch all that read it.....the words bring forth life from birth, the experiences within that circle of life and all that it may touch.......I like the title as it is so fitting.......reminds me of a few I have penned in the past.....I so love it when the Lord works through His child. Thanks for posting, for being an important part of the link. Looking forward to more of your work... The kiss to a forehead The grasp from a child The eyes wide open indeed, hugs and kisses, arms held wide, 'up'...says Molly who is only one year old.....I enjoyed it all.....2008-07-25 03:55:20
Straining IntensityJames C. HorakWe all know James that I am not much in the critiquing department but I just had to let you know I have read this over and over again and I find it certainly has touched my heart, ..... A face worn beyond the maiden expression except The glimpse of momentary return found so well in flavor. The old man sees his lady young again, pliant again to his touch. Thank you for posting, it will make my list of favorites for this month.....God Bless, Claire 2008-07-10 23:19:13
Spring Mendingsmarilyn terwillegerHow lovely a picture you have brushed with the stroke of your pen.....words that bring to life the earth after a long winter's nap.......enjoyed it all from beginning to end......my most favorite time of the year is Spring and for the reasons stated within your lines....especially enjoyed spring will mend the garden's dress of rags.......just like Cinderella going to the ball.......beautifully done......mending spring will cast her wrap of frills...... A silent pulse of wind will flutter ponds.......one can see the silent pulse of wind and at the same time feel the ponds flutter........ while swollen clouds in moody skies will tip, then drop their rain like fragile beads of glass. So much beauty in this swollen cloud with their fragile beads of glass........well by now I do hope you know how much I have enjoyed this one and it will make my list of favorites......thanks for sharing once again your God given talent......God Bless, Claire2008-07-10 23:12:19
UnderstandingThomas H. SmihulaThank you Thomas for posting, so nice to see your work once more. Memories are indeed a part of each and every one of us and I for one am glad that you will share your memories once more. Though you indicate not for critiquing......you certainly have penned words we all feel and think about. Hope and pray you are well.....look forward to more of your work. God Bless, Claire 2008-07-08 09:52:23
From This ComesRegis L ChapmanAmazing how your pen never ceases to amaze me.......how your words bring forth so much in the field of emotions, images, ....I stand and watch you as if in a trance inside above two of the audience who love the moving sea between us a'dance I open my mouth to greet and walk upon this very water to meet Always looking forward to finding your work. God Bless, Claire2008-07-06 22:42:21
Blood Melts Like IceDeniMari Z.We have all been in a situation similar to your presentation.......indeed, blood is thicker than water but water spills over faster and harsher in many cases.....your words flow as your heart describes what it feels and how you still hold this someone in your thoughts and prayers, how turning away might hurt and for no good reason.....yet I am happy to see that you know you must think of yourself first.......and more often then not these twists and turns we take will bring us safely home. You are in my thoughts and my prayers and never forget you are NO 1 and very important too. God Bless, Claire2008-07-05 21:50:27
Fairy Springmarilyn terwillegerFairy Spring...an enjoyable title that grabs one's attention and then delivers all that it promises. Your words bring to life fairies who in turn bring life back into the world. You can see them fly aloft in silver streams of clouds, with golden hands they mold the sun with rays, and wake the breeze that sweeps the mist away. How enchanting this is to me.........Spring is my most favorite time of the year for the world is awakening after its winter's nap and you have penned this so well. Your world flow and as they flow your images presented come to life before our eyes. Thank you again for sharing your God given talent with us. God Bless, Claire 2008-07-05 02:24:46
I'll Die Alonemarilyn terwillegerFirst of all let me congratulate you for your choice of words in challenge...indeed they are words that are not exactly happy...yet, you have done a wonderful job in penning them as they read quite well, they bring forth images as they too have been created and in many cases memories may be brought back for some. I know it brought me to a lovely lady whom I miss deeply and how very cold she was becoming as she earned her angel wings. She did not want to die alone thus she was surrounded by her family who loved her so.....good use of the rose within the lines for not only the beauty it brings but the dainty parts as well..... Enjoyed the word rhyming and how very personal you made it all blend. Certainly do hope your offering wins in the challenge for this one will make the list for the month. God Bless, Claire2008-07-04 22:58:26
Versemen ChroniclesVictor David RooksWell presented poem, good rhymn and rhythm in your choice of words. Images created and I liked the repetition of In outcome sure. Thanks for posting, not sure if I have found your work before but I do look forward to finding more of it. God Bless, Claire2008-05-29 22:44:09
Old FolksKenneth R. PattonIndeed my friend there is a Universe out there just waiting to be shared, explored, enjoyed by all......but first we do have to travel that certain road we call life......love the way you looked at Old Folks........from a child's point of view I suppose our grandparents looked much older then they really were for lifestyles, dress styles and hair styles I believe played a rather large part of the picture. My own memere had hair down to the floor at one time that I recall, she always wore house dresses with aprons but I do not recall the smell of home make cookies coming from her oven......I am now a grandmother of eighteen ranging from one year to twenty two years of age; I also am blessed with great grandbabies.....three so far with two on the way.........I'm not old enough to be a great grandmother, yet I am.........and my health certainly shows it.......love the way you size up middle age.....and our body having little to do with me.....how right you are for it has a mind of its own and does what it wants when it wants...... further enjoyed your closing thoughts of perhaps leaving it all behind and finding that Universe and start all over again, different from this life, whole, well, happy and healthy.....Lord's green garden is certainly a picture to be painted consisting of beauty beyond compare.......as you can tell I have enjoyed your read and it will make the month's list of favorites. God Bless, Claire2008-05-29 22:37:51
Mr. HinkeyJames C. HorakInteresting read poet....your words certainly do paint strong images...and emotions.......I wonder if those that it is meant to touch will find and read it........do we really know better? A good question with much food for thought.......and here's to you Mr. Horak.......good job. God Bless, Claire2008-05-24 21:13:47
RemembrRegis L ChapmanNot familiar with ashram's or how they may work for some but I am quite pleased to know you have left them and have taken over your own thoughts and ations once again. Your words bring forth many images some of which to me are so very dark and frightening.....yet, to those who live it must find other emotions involved as well. I wondered if there was a typo in this line with regards to the word bride? (and desire consumed my bride) I might think pride works much better. And, would the title be missing an e in Remember? I have read most every poem you have recently posted upon your return to the link and it is always a pleasure to find them posted on my page.....again, thank you for sharing this most difficult yet refreshing write. God Bless, Claire2008-05-24 21:09:35
in the galleryMark Andrew HislopInteresting form you use along with the lack of capitalized words to begin each sentence with. it works well, the thoughts and images created with the flow of your pen are interesting within themselves. as always it is nice to find your work posted here on the link and we do look forward to more of the same. God Bless, Claire2008-05-24 21:02:34
Angel PiperKenneth R. PattonA superb farewell and an inspiration of life after death as well. I love the song Amazing Grave and I am certain it was beautifully played on pipes....the image of the dragonflies brings shivers as they dart in and out amongst you all. Certainly believable that mom was happy with your celebration of her life. I do believe most mom's called them darning needles so the little ones will not be afraid when they land near by. It is so nice to find your poetry this morning; a faithful poet and a good friend. Thank you for posting and for sharing this miracle with us, God Bless, Claire2008-05-22 10:13:30
Heaven Holds You NowDeniMari Z.To (The) love in your heart runs through to your soul, and in life keep (kept) your sights set on positive goals. perhaps to and keep were typo's? The pain that your heart holds is certainly felt within the lines of this poem in tribute to honor Shaun. His memory will always be within the lining of your heart and you will often feel and share certain days, hours, even minutes thinking of this man you loved so dearly.....taken way too young in life he was...... God would never want to see any of His children in hell my friend; the journey you are on He is right there beside you all the way.......just reach out and take His hand and you will never be alone again. Your words certainly bring forth many emotions, many images and much love. God Bless and be well, Claire 2008-05-22 08:06:00
Resting In ZeroRegis L ChapmanFrom the read my friend your words brought me to Granite Flat and a most enjoyeable place it was. Your words brought it to life with its river flowing, the rocks and huge trees and the beauty of it all. Even the road was inviting being no wonder why you so enjoy the mountain area so much. It must be some view to also see the valley with its natural beauty too. As always it is so nice to find your work here on the link and I hope you will stay awhile longer. Indeed it is sad to find no one at home here as in comparison to days gone by....perhaps it will take just one strong poet to keep the link flowing with words calling others to come in and share as well. I was glad to find a poem from Dellena too......God Bless and keep the words flowing, Claire2008-05-20 08:53:19
Double EdgedDellena RovitoGood morning Del...so nice to find your work in the midst of the turmoil. Double Edged is a good title for this writing; it covers so much that life has to offer and the people and roads we travel to reach our destination. Your words allow for many avenues, emotions, images.......it is a sad day when we find so little of what used to be........thank you again for posting and for being such a caring person and a wonderful friend. God Bless, Claire 2008-05-20 03:41:48
come backRegis L ChapmanIt is good to have you back my friend, it is also good to see you have not loss your talent for writing. Looking forward to your work ....God Bless, Claire2008-05-14 21:00:35
A ToastMichael BirdA Toast.....very fitting title....words that flow and bring forth images along with emotions that are meant to be felt......saying goodbye is never easy and with such a deep loss it may be more so. The opening stanza and the thought of a Bridge of Tears certainly stirs the emotions......life, love, hope and dreams, plans made together to last a lifetime and then........a deep farewell.........I am certain this was most difficult to write and I am also certain others will associate with it all. Thanks, take good care, God Bless, Claire2008-05-14 20:57:42
over the moonRegis L ChapmanHow wonderful the mind travels with meditation and this one surely allows for the flight to bring you together once more. I often search the skies to find that white tail which travels rather high...though I have never been on a plane other then lifeflight.......your words bring forth all that you feel at that moment in time and love certainly has captured your heart. God Bless, Claire2008-05-14 08:38:45
Desert WalkerRegis L ChapmanThe title alone brought me on the beginning of a spiritual journey and the words penned brought it all to life. To some it may seem rather long yet to this reader the words just continued to flow.....bringing to light whatever thoughts and feelings that one may associate with it and I am certain each reader will have perhaps some difference in their thoughts. Life is a journey we travel on every day and no road is filled with signs to let us know which may be the easier way to follow. Thanks for posting, as always, good job.....God Bless, Claire 2008-05-14 08:28:59
The Reluctant InvestigationJames C. HorakGood luck in the contest with this ones. God Bless, Claire 2008-05-07 18:19:05
