Hello, everyone. My name is Cletus (Clete) Hardiman. I currently live in Florence, Alabama. I was born and raised in the southern part of middle Tennessee. I have traveled a lot mostly in the United States. I am an ex-professional singer/musician that has "hung" his instruments up. I did my first radio show when I was only seven years of age. I moved to Nashville lots of years later, and became involved in the music scene up there. I first began writing songs while in Nashville. And, after leaving Nashville, in 1970, I began writing for a newspaper in Russellville, Alabama. This turned out to be a profitable thing for me, as I later wrote for over 40 newspapers across the nation. My material sometimes contained poetry, but must of it was of the philosophical nature. I feel luck to have gained much wisdom in my travels and experiences in life, and I try to share some of these experiences in my poetry. Please E-mail me your comments at chard10442@aol.com.
