I have written poetry since I was a small child. I have never considered sharing with the
world any of my poems until I found this site. My poetry is simply my way of expressing emotions
on things that happen to me in every day life.... I have never professed to be an excellent
author, and my grammar is by far a slum. However, I would like to improve, and so here I am. I hope some of my work could inspire and or perhaps touch others in similar ways that is has helped me get
through the happiest and hardest times of my life. I am 21 years old. I am married. I have a 6 month old son. Recently, I have begun to deal with my own personal demons regarding my self image.
I have been able to admit my problem, and I feel that by doing this, I can also benefit. You see, no matter how skinny I get, when I look in the mirror I see an unacceptably large person. I know that I will eventually die if I do not change. I would also like to add that I do not find large people gross or lesser a person than I. In fact, those who profess to be "fat and happy" I envy the most. It is just something I have a problem with for my own person.... Aside from those grievances, I am a Mortgage Broker in my profession, and have everything going for me ,or so I have been told....I look forward to meeting you all, and if I can ever help anyone in anyway, please feel free to e-mail me !!!
