I have been married for 38 yrs. to my childhood sweetheart and we have 2 grown daughters and 4 beautiful grandchildren, and one spoiled dog, a 2yr. old Brittany named Sadie Anne. She is a bird dog but has never seen a pheasant, she loves to mole hunt so we have the best looking lawn in our neighborhood. Over the past 2 yrs. I have learned not to take life too seriously, take time to smell the roses and live one moment at a time. The week of Thanksgiving in 1997, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and have been battling with it since then, so far with God by my side, I am winning. My hobbies are shopping for antiques on Ebay, cross-stitching, swimming, fishing, camping, reading your poems and trying my hand at some of my own. Good luck and God Bless!
