I am fairly new at writing poetry (4 years) and find it relaxing and enjoyable.
I've read lots of poetry, written by amatuers and professionals, so I'm hoping
to advance in this art and maybe have something published.
I live in Northwest Florida, near Destin, and I enjoy meeting people who share
my interest in poetry. I would love to attend an open mic reading session somewhere near
this location (within 50 miles) so that I may learn more about speaking and delivering poems.
However, in my community, there doesn't seem to be such a place for poets to gather and read
aloud to an audience.
My pen neme is SpicE, and poetry is the spice of my life; for sure.
Your comments about my writings will be welcomed, as I intend to use them as a learning tool.
