Hmm...where to start? I was born a poor Navajo/Black child during the worst years of that war... (kidding).
Birth of a "poet"- the unwilling completion of a mandatory English assignment in high school tapped a new form of creative expression for me which I promptly squandered on romantic pursuits with mediocre success at best. Fortunately, poetry found me once again in college and now is a mainstay as one of my lazy but ongoing attempts at finding beauty in creative expression, after the work day is done of course. In other words, it's one of those things I love to do to keep from getting bored! I often think, if I had unlimited time and resources, I could do everything but I'll settle for trying everything and enjoying it to the fullest.
